Mark Oates

My role as an Outdoor Education Teacher in a school in Tasmania, Australia, is to inspire young people to get outdoors, explore the natural world and live an adventurous life. My hope is that my students develop a genuine love for the outdoors and the environment and a desire to challenge and push themselves that little bit further. My particular passions are whitewater packrafting and kayaking along with ski-touring and snowcamping. In my limited spare time I teach whitewater paddling skills.
